WHO AM I ??media and its influence on women

SEXY SLIMMER THINNER SOFTER BRIGHTER LIGHTER...these are few of the many terms being thrown at women when watching tv.

Ask yourself do these words influence how you want to look ?
Do you compare yourself to these "top models" you see on tv?
And what extent are you willing to go through to get this image?
The  American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) released their 15thannual multi-specialty procedural statistics.
Almost 9.2 million cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures were performed in the United States in 2011.

SADLY,MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO GO TO THE EXTENT OF PLASTIC SURGERY TO GET THE IMAGE MEDIA PORTRAYS WOMEN AND MEN  SHOULD BE.

This is when i begin to ask myself :

                                                                ....WHO AM I ? ....
  • How far apart have I seperated myself from my
true self,  my own identity, my originality ?
  • Do I accept what I was given by God?
  •  Am I covering  up my own identity/self with cosmetics and the latest fashion that  media tells me is in ?

  •  I BELIEVE ITS TIME FOR US WOMEN TO RISE FROM THE IMAGE BEING SHOVED INTO OUR BRAINS BY THE MEDIA!

LETS FIND OUR TRUE SELF ONCE AGAIN  ....WE ARE ALL UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL..
